 This year I have been doing something called TTRS! If you don't know what it means it is Times Tables Rock Stars and It is about learning all of your maths so you will be really smart and you can memorize them all without using your fingers like I do because I sometimes forget some of my time's tables and that's ok. You can learn from your mistakes. I have enjoyed school for this year and this is why I have chosen to put this on my blog. 

 This week I have been having fun because I did create a guitar because I like making things so yeah!!! Here is my Chapter Chat I have done for these workshops every week we do either 1 workshop from 4 of them.  

 This week I have been doing Hero writing. I have chosen a person who is world-famous. I chose Lorde/ Ella Marjiga! I have discovered a lot about her! She is 23 years old. So that's my Hero's writing happing at my school.  Here is a photo that I took and drew on because I was allowed to do it.  I took my time doing it so here it is! THE MASTERPIECE!!!

  Whetū Workshops Reflection During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops. The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been drama because I love being able to be involved in plays.   The new learning that I have learnt is how to use scratch because before I did not know how to use it but now I know how to and I really enjoyed it very much. What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are origami, drama and pom, pom birds art.  I am interested in learning more about what other types of beans so I can learn more about them.   

 This week I have been doing a Maths Mahi Investigation. I had fun doing this Maths Mahi so far this year. I have learned about: Reflection, Translations, and Rotation. Here are the activitie I had to do. 

 This term in whetu I have done some art and I enjoyed it very much. I did a coke bottle. And I had to add heaps of pop colors. If you don't know what they are. Pop colours are about bright colours so yeah! Here is the art I did.  

 This is my inquiry that I did about zoos. And this is a question that we had to answer: Should animals be kept in zoos? I had fun doing this very much. So this is what I did for it. I made a poster online. All of Whetu did this and we all did some things differently and that's ok.  So yeah here is my learning for: Should animals be kept in zoos?  Should animals be kept in zoos? Yes they should be kept in zoos. Because if there were not any zoos all of the animals would be endangered.  2. Do we need zoos? Yes, we do and they are amazing for all of us? Including animals! 3. Some people think that zoos are really good and others think there bad but I think that they are good for animals that are also endangered. 4. Did you know that some animals are endangered and also my favorite bird the Kakapo! 5. Did you know that there are 10,000 zoos in worldwide! I know right? Crazy! 6.   This week I chose to join the cooking workshop option.  On the first day, we planned what was going to be in the vegetable soup. On the second day, we brought all the things that were going to be in the soup. On the third day, we ate it and I think that IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD AND YUM!  The part I like the most was making the soup because it was really fun making the soup.

 This week at school I had to do a Maths Mahi and It did not have that many questions. But there were pluses and Times. I had fun doing this Maths Mahi etch week I  do it. I did some activities on it. I had trouble but I made it in the end. And I also learned about Enlargement too and I had to make it the same shape but It was really hard but I had fun doing it so much! Here are the activities I did for this week!   

  Cross Country Reflection 2020 This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the 10 age group. I am most proud of how well I have done in my training because I was very tired from running at cross country. I think my effort towards our training at school was really good because I tried really hard for training. I tried to do 3 laps around the domain. But I could only do 2 laps. I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by trying my best at training and on cross country day. And I had to do 3 laps! Two big laps and one little lap. 

 This week I did the first Chapter Chat again! It has been a long time since Whetu has done Chapter Chat or Chapter Challenge! This week the book we are reading is called WINK! And I like it so far. I have met in the story is Ross, Abby, and Issac of the main characters. I chose to write and I did Abby and I wrote heaps of things about her. I think that this is a SUPERNOVA WORK! Here is the activitie  I designed!  

 This is my Maths Mahi I did for this week and I had a lot of work doing this and it was really fun. Here are the actives I did in Pekapeka! 

This week  Whetu did a challenge about drawing and making a cartoon. We had all mistakes but that's ok! You can learn from them.\ The hardest thing was doing the outline but I kept clicking twice! So I had so used the shapes. I tried to get the right color but it did not have a light brown. The easiest thing was doing the rest of the cartoon I was making. Who I worked with is Jasmine, Brianna and Jacob.    What cartoon did my group do was Paw patrol.    The character I did was Rubble.

This week I did another Maths Mahi Challenge. It was very kind of hard and easy to do. These are the activities I did.
