Lifting fingerprints. 2020 October.

Image
This week since yesterday was a long weekend.  I have done some fingerprints and we have learnt in PekaPeka doing lifting our prints.  All of us have different prints on our fingers. Even twins just have the same DNA but never the same prints on their fingers though. We have only 4 days of school this week. I have enjoyed this strange mystery so far. In my group, we figured out that they are all women. Now I know how to do the fingerprints. A Policewomen, Sally taught us how to see and get prints of anything such as glass plates, tables, phones, screens, and also on our school computers too! My print is a loop. I worked with my best friend Lara. And we both had loops too, which is pretty cool. Here is my left print:

Finger Prints. Whetu Case

This term on our whetu case. I have done 3 activities and they have been really cool! I have my fingerprints and we did it with this type of ink stuff. There are 3 fingerprint patterns called: Loops, Whorls, and Arches. On my left hand, I have 1 loop,1 arch, and 3 whorls. The most common fingerprint is the loop. On my right hand, I have 4 arches and 1 whorl.

Whetu Crime scene. 2020. Term 4!

This term back at school. Just on Monday, we saw this tape and it said: Crime scene and do not cross. I was very worried. I didn't know what was going on but then I saw a cracked window with blood! There were also footprints and Milky ways scattered all over the ground. We got to do 3 things witch was: Make an ID avatar, do a paper about the scene, and doing a team logo!  My team's name is The MYSTERY MASTERS! Now Tuesday. Today, we got our ID avatars. So that's for this term!
